The National Blood Center, together with the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo Foundation of Pavia and the Azienda Socio Sanitaria Territoriale (ASST) of Mantua, asked us to take care of the visual communication of the European project SUPPORT-E (SUPPORTing high-quality evaluation of COVID-19 convalescent plasma throughout Europe). We designed the communication of the project keeping in mind its objectives: facilitate international exchanges, foster cooperation and promote the spreading of the initiative.

The project originated during the covid emergency with the dual objectives of conducting an evidence-based evaluation of COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma (CCP) therapies and achieving harmonization among all member states on the most appropriate clinical use, including through the use of the newly constructed European CCP database.

SUPPORT-E takes the form of a complex and participatory experimental project with the ultimate goal of incentivizing the European population to donate their blood and plasma. We designed SUPPORT-E’s communication with a rationale of rigor, cleanliness and clarity, with the aim of facilitating understanding and incentivizing donation.

Starting with the logo and corporate image for SUPPORT-E, we created various dissemination tools including a website with clear and explanatory graphics and a motion graphic video, project report layout and newsletter template.
